This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which cancellations and refunds will be processed for subscription plans, premium features, and related services.
By subscribing to any plan or purchasing any service on cvDynamic, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy. We encourage you to read this policy carefully before making any purchase.
2. General Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellation Timeframe
Cancellation requests will be considered only if the request is made within 7 days of the subscription date. However, the cancellation request may not be entertained if:
- You have downloaded more than 5 PDF resumes using the premium subscription
- You have created more than 3 resumes using the premium features
- The subscription has been active for more than 7 days
- You have utilized premium features extensively (e.g., multiple template changes, advanced customization)
2.2 How to Request Cancellation
To request a cancellation, you must:
- Contact our Customer Service team at support@cvdynamic.com
- Provide your subscription details, including order number and plan name
- State the reason for cancellation
- Submit the request within the 7-day cancellation window
3. Refund Policy
3.1 Eligible Refunds
Refunds will be processed in the following circumstances:
- Within 7 Days of Subscription: Full refund if cancellation is requested within 7 days and you have not exceeded the usage limits (less than 5 PDF downloads, less than 3 resumes created)
- Technical Issues: Refund or alternative solution if you experience persistent technical issues that prevent access to platform features
- Service Cancellation by Us: Full refund if we discontinue a service or feature that you have paid for
- Duplicate Payment: Full refund for accidental duplicate payments or charges
3.2 Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Free plans or trial subscriptions (no payment made)
- Subscriptions where more than 5 PDF resumes have been downloaded
- Subscriptions where more than 3 resumes have been created
- Subscriptions that have exceeded the 7-day cancellation window
- Special promotional offers or discounted subscriptions (unless explicitly stated otherwise)
- One-time purchases of specific features or add-ons that have been utilized
3.3 Partial Refunds
In certain circumstances, partial refunds may be considered:
- If you have used some premium features but not exceeded the main usage limits, a partial refund (up to 50% of the subscription fee) may be considered
- If a service is discontinued mid-subscription period, a prorated refund may be provided
- Special circumstances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by our support team
4. Subscription-Specific Policies
4.1 Monthly Subscriptions
- Cancellation before renewal: Subscription will not renew, but current period remains active until end date
- Refund requests within 7 days: Full refund if usage limits not exceeded
- After 7 days: No refund, but subscription will not renew
4.2 Annual Subscriptions
- Cancellation within first 7 days: Full refund if usage limits not exceeded
- Cancellation after 7 days but within first month: 80% refund (20% administrative fee)
- Cancellation after first month: Prorated refund based on remaining months, minus administrative fee
4.3 Lifetime or One-Time Purchases
- 7-day full refund policy applies if less than 5 PDF downloads and less than 3 resumes created
- After 7 days: No refund, but lifetime access remains valid
5. Refund Processing
5.1 Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 3-10 business days after approval. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.
5.2 Refund Method
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method (credit card, PayPal, Razorpay, etc.)
- If the original payment method is no longer available, we will work with you to find an alternative refund method
- Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider
5.3 Currency and Fees
- Refunds will be processed in the same currency as the original payment
- Any currency conversion fees or transaction fees charged by payment processors are non-refundable
6. Special Circumstances
6.1 Technical Issues
If you experience persistent technical issues that prevent you from using the platform effectively:
- Contact our support team immediately with details of the issue
- We will investigate and attempt to resolve the issue
- If the issue cannot be resolved and significantly impacts your ability to use the platform, a full refund will be provided
- Alternative solutions (account transfer, extended access) may be offered at our discretion
6.2 Service Quality Issues
If you believe the service does not meet the description or your expectations:
- Report your concerns to our Customer Service team within 7 days of subscription
- Our team will review your complaint and the service features
- If the complaint is valid, we will offer a refund or alternative solution
- All decisions will be made at the discretion of our support team
6.3 Duplicate Subscriptions
If you accidentally subscribe multiple times:
- Contact support immediately to report the duplicate subscription
- We will process a full refund for duplicate subscriptions
- This must be reported within 48 hours of the duplicate subscription
7. Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with a refund decision:
- You may request a review by escalating to our management team
- Provide detailed documentation supporting your refund request
- We will conduct a thorough review and respond within 5-7 business days
- All decisions made by our management team are final

For subscriptions made before a policy change, the policy in effect at the time of subscription will apply to that specific subscription.
